1927-A1 THOMPSON RIFLE. Cal. 45 ACP. S# KN1006. Bbl. 17". A beautiful commemorative Model 1927-A1 Thompson rifle dedicated to America’s Soldiers. Deep rich blued barrel w/ 35 fins, terminated w/ gold Cutts compensator, complete w/ classic Thompson bullet logo & front sight blade. The receiver is heavily adorned w/ 24-karat gold & nickel engravings & accents. The right side features an illustration of a soldier taking aim with his Thompson and banners that read, “Saluting America’s Soldiers” and “Defending Freedom”. The rest of the action on the right side of the receiver depicts scenes during WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. On the left side are two scenes that illustrate the soldier and the Thompson in action. The first scene shows infantrymen landing on the beach during the D-Day invasion. Also featured is an outline of the U.S.A. with the words, “Freedom Forever,” and a banner reading “Country Before Self”. At the center, a soldier stands firing his Thompson. The top of the receiver is full of ornate scroll work & the original Thompson bullet logo, forward of the gold rear sight. The furniture is a matching factory high gloss finish walnut, including the horizontal handguard, pistol grip & shoulder stock. Receiver, sling swivels & magazine all have a satin finish, resembling stainless steel or electroless nickel. MAGS: 1 matching 30 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Black plastic, foam lined factory case, & lock. CONDITION: All aspects indicate it is unfired as typical w/ commemorative guns. No visible degradation of any type.
