CONDITION: good overall. 3) Emerson and Silver, Model 1850 staff officer’s sword w/ fluted & decorated silver grip, blade w/ etched panels, no scabbard. CONDITION: good to very good overall. 4) Ames Model 1840 medical staff sword. “US Medical Staff” etched on blade w/ patriotic panels, no scabbard. CONDITION: very good overall gray blade, staining, pitting, hilt has traces of gold plating w/ applied silver “MS”. 5) Variant 1840 NCO sword, unmarked. 6) Iron stirrup hilt, metal scabbard, etched blade, no maker. CONDITION: poor backstrap & one languet broken off. 7) GAR sword, no scabbard. CONDITION: very good. 8) GAR sword, w/ scabbard, Horstmann.
