Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 6685. These rugged guns were made between 1940 and 1957 with a total production of about 116,000. This early gun has 30" barrels marked for mod and full chokes with Winchester markings on top left. Blued boxlock action with deep frame has automatic safety and double triggers. Pistol grip American walnut stock measures 14-1/4" over checkered Remington buttplate. Broad forend has spring tension release. MEASUREMENTS: STOCK: DAH: 2-5/8". DAC: 1-9/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/4". WEIGHT: 7 lb. 7 oz. CONDITION: good as completely refinished, retaining nearly all applied finishes on wood and metal. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically good. (23-5985/MGM).
