This varied lot includes 2 Mauser K98 bayonets with blued blades and leather frogs. Serial numbers do not match. / 1 Mauser K98 bayonet with a bright blade and wooden grip. Serial numbers do not match. / 1 Canadian Ross rifle bayonet M1910, with a modified blade. No scabbard. Pommel is marked “ROSS RIFLE CO QUEBEC PATENTED 1907”. / 1 US M1858 Civil War bayonet. Bayonet has a dark patina and partially crushed socket. No scabbard. / 1 US M1816 bayonet, stamped “US” on the flat. No scabbard. / 1 English P1842 socket bayonet with no scabbard. / 1 English P1907 bayonet with numerous arsenal marks on the ricasso, complete with original scabbard. / 1 English P1907 bayonet with numerous arsenal marks on the ricasso. No scabbard. Bayonet has been sharpened. / 1 English P1907 bayonet that appears to be reconditioned and sharpened. No scabbard. / 1 Danish M1867 first model bayonet, marked at the ricasso “GEBR. WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN”. No scabbard. / 1 Unidentified European bayonet, similar to a German M1907, but very crudely made and heavy. No scabbard. This lot also includes a sheath for a US M1910 bolo knife. Sheath has a metal body with a khaki canvas cover and leather tip. CONDITION: bayonets generally show moderate wear, except as noted above.
