EJECTOR DOUBLE TRIGGER GAME GUN. Cal. 16 Ga. 2 3/4". S# 1175. The 28" monobloc bbls. are engraved "Anson Extra" on slightly raised flat matted rib. Tops of bbls. are engraved with importer (Cole Inc.) and maker's name and address. Engine turned bbl. flats are stamped with 2001 Italian nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers. Coin finished, single arched backed boxlock action features non automatic safety and gold plated double triggers. Action is engraved with near full coverage varying, but mostly large, open shaded scroll within line borders. Maker's name is at top of trigger plate and engraver's signature "V. TEMPONI" is in front of right trigger. Top lever is pierced in scroll design. Trigger guard has matching scroll on bow and serial number on tang. Straight grip buttstock of attractively marbled, and stump figured European walnut measures 15" over thin brown leather covered pad. Borderless point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS.: Bore Diameter: R: .671", L: .672". Restrictions: R: .004" (IC) , L: .011" (LIGHT MOD). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .030", L: .030". STOCK: DAH: 2 1/8". DAC: 1 3/8". CAST: approx. 5/8" off. LOP: 15". WEIGHT: 5 lbs. 13 oz. CONDITION: exceptionally fine with evidence of minor field use. Bbls. retaining nearly all of their original blue. Most loss due to forend chatter and some scratches from removal. Action retains essentially all of its bright coin finish. Gold plating of triggers shows only hint of wear, mostly on front trigger. Stocks have a few minor light marks and dings in their original finish. Checkering is still light in color.
