PRODD. A fine early example of a prodd also known as a stone bow likely of German origin. The U-shaped double pillar foresight is positioned just in front of the 18" bow. The steel tiller is set with a built in gaffle. The small fruitwood stock measures about 6" in length. Overall length is approximately 26 1/2". The prodd seems mechanically sound and complete. CONDITION: this ancient weapon shows great age but appears to be complete and serviceable. (02-25512/BF). NON-GUN. $1800-2400.
