Cal. 68. S# NSN. 14" Overall. Bbl. 9" tapered rnd. w/ top flat. Possibly American. Beveled lockplate w/ rebated tail, bridled frizzen. Only markings are matching “X” on bottom of bbl. & tang. Bag grip has sm. screwed on buttcap & engraved brass trigger guard. CONDITION: good to very good overall, appears to be original flint though cock & frizzen spring replaced, crack repair to tang. Burled walnut stock is well fit w/ hand worn patina w/ scattered cosmetic blemishes expected after over 200 years. Mechanically will not hold cock, smooth pitted bore.
