Overall length: 26 3/4". Blade length: 21 1/2". Plain blade with a single, short, narrow fuller. Silver-plated brass hilt with slightly S-shaped crossguard and integral pas d’ane. This sword, at one time, had a downturned, clamshell guard that was likely removed during its useful life. The knuckle bow exhibits rococo design, as do the ferrule, pommel cap, and side strap. White ray skin grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray, cleaned patina with some light surface pitting. Hilt generally shows light wear with the majority of silver plate intact. Grip is 99%. (02-23021/BF). $450-700.
