ACTION SNIPER RIFLE. Cal.7.62X54R. S#MOR0000081. Bbl. 28 3/4". I.O. INC. importer marking under barrel. Rifle has "12820" on the right side of the chamber which matches scope. Original serial number matches on Barrel, bolt, floorplate and buttplate as well as electro-penciled on scope mount. Barrel is marked over chamber with "Izhevsk Hammer and sickle in wreath" "1944" date and "Arrow in triangle" Izhevsk marking. Receiver is marked on left rear with "MOLOT" Ukrainian export markings. Turned down bolt handle. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000 meters. Post front sight with protective hood. Rifle is equipped with original PU scope and mount. Mount has tiny Izhevsk "arrow in triangle and "M" in diamond on bottom left side. PU scope is marked with white enhancement "five point star" "hammer and sickle" "half oval" 1942" "No A-12820" and "X in square" with "K". Scope adjustments have domed screws. Pointed post reticle with horizontal cross bars. Hardwood stock set. Cleaning rod is present. Stock markings rendered illegible due to arsenal rework finish. UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original leather scope caps. CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal rework finish over moderate wear and handling marks with runs in the finish. Metal retains a large degree of its arsenal rework finish with light wear and handling marks. Scope retains 80% of its original finish with light wear. Optics appear clear and serviceable.
