CENTENNIAL REVOLVERS. BOTH: Cals. 22 LR / 22 Mag. S# 76-02270, S# 76-02271. Bbls. 6 1/2" with screw attached ramped serrated blade sights; frame mounted factory adjustable rear sights. Left sides of barrels marked "1876 Colorado Centennial" plus "U.S. Bicentennial 1776"; Southport address and no "warning marks". Mfg. 1976 (S# 76-00001 to 76-15888; 1973 to date for all NM Single-Sixes) with blued cylinder frames, barrels and cylinders plus stainless grip frames with "1876 Colorado 1976" on butts. Although made in 1976, they do not have the standard 200th year markings of 1976 Rugers. Both cylinders for each revolver are unfluted with Colorado themed roll markings. Standard black anodized alloy ejector housings and attractive smooth, nicely figured Cocobolo (some produced with Rosewood) grips having silver eagle medallions. Designated by Ruger as Super Single-Six Convertible NR6-RCC; very few with 5 1/2" barrels. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent walnut presentation case for each having royal blue satin and velvet French fitted interiors plus Ruger logo and Colorado markings in gold under lid; porcelain medallion on cover. One red felt cylinder bag, 1 Colorado marked manual, 1 case key and 2 plastic rings for firing pin grooves of 22 LR cylinders. CONDITION: both are generally near excellent (including bores and grips) with very faint beginning turn lines on each 22 Mag. cylinder; one 22 LR cylinder has light turn line and the other is without marks. One ejector housing has a very small impact mark just behind mounting screw. (23-6152, 23-6153/NW). BOTH MODERN. $800-1,200.
