SXS SHOTGUNS. ALL: NSN.
1) FISHER & LONG STAGECOACH STYLE. Fisher & Long operated in Detroit, MI 1867-1875 marking percussion double shotguns. Both worked for William Winger & acquired his shop when he retired. Bbls. 21" w/ brass front bead & Birmingham Black Powder proofs. Hammer locks engraved "FISHER & LONG". Wedge fastened checkering walnut stock w/ carved rounded edges around locks & German silver toeline name plate. CONDITION: laminated barrels have light brown patina appearance. Other metal have brown patina appearance with traces of blue & peppery oxidation. Wood has good finish showing worn checkering at forearm, cracks & dings throughout. Bores show pitting throughout. Mechanically fine w/ replacement nipples. (01-28431/MD).
2) WILLIAM WINGERT. William Wingert operated out of Detroit, MI 1837-1867 making percussion rifles and pistols with brother John A. Wingert. Bbls. 31" w/ front bead. Hammer locks marked "WM WINGERT". Wedge fastened walnut stock. CONDITION: metal has brown patina appearance with marks & spots of corrosion. Sanded & refinished wood with cracks, dings & sm. chips. Dark oxidized bores w/ large dent to left barrel. Mechanically fine. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (01-28432/MD). ALL ANTIQUE. $500-700.
