MEDAL, AND A TINTYPE. 1,2) A gold Marksmanship Medal with a top bar that reads “FULLER MEDAL” and a bottom drop in the shape of a US shield that reads “DRILL CONTEST 1st PRIZE”. There are 6 bars on this medal with different winners' names. The back of the shield is engraved “Badger State Rifles Presented by Dr. L.L. Fuller Jan. 1st 90”. Included with this medal is a tintype of a Spanish American War Corporal wearing a 5-button uniform coat with the medal pinned to it. CONDITION: medal shows light wear but is missing one connection ring between the bars. Tintype is raw and shows some scuffs with craquelure. 3) A Marksmanship Medal in sterling silver with the top bar marked “ARMORY SHARP-SHOOTER”, and the drop is marked “DEFENDAM 22 REGIMENT N.G.S.N.Y.”. The medal has 6 bars with the dates 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1908, & 1909. The reverse of the drop is marked “ROBERT STOLL N.Y. 19 JOHN ST. STERLING”. CONDITION: light wear overall. 4) A Drill Medal in silver with gold bar & crossed cannons. The bar is marked in blue enamel “GARD TROPHY” with “C1” in a shield. Below the crossed rifle is a silver target engraved on the reverse “Presented to Co. G. 1st Infantry by T.D. GARD 1885”. CONDITION: light wear. 5) A Spanish American War Veteran's Medal with eagle bar & cross drop. The ribbon is an American flag. CONDITION: light wear overall.
