1) EUROPEAN LEFT HAND DAGGER. Overall length: 16 1/2". Blade length: 11 1/2". Heavily tapered plain blade. Down turned iron guard w/ attached guard ring. Bulbous iron pommel w/ iron wire wrapped leather grip. No sheath. CONDITION: blade & other iron have a lightly cleaned gray finish. Grip is a bit deteriorated but wire appears complete. (02-16117/BF).
2) EARLY HUNGARIAN HUSSAR SABER. Overall length: 34 1/2". Blade length: 29 1/4". A typical European form of the Hungarian region dating from the late 18th Century to the early 19th Century. Triple fullered blade w/ iron hilt. Hilt includes a thumb ring & 6 1/2" crossguard coupled w/ a 4" languet. Iron pommel & partial backstrap. Shaped leather covered wood grip w/ star design on both sides. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray cleaned finish as does the hilt. Leather is worn but complete. (02-16144/BF). $900-1,400.
