1) Overall length: 33”. Blade length: 27 3/4". A fine European spadroon with an etched blade of 6-facet form. Etching includes various foliate and allegorical motifs. Iron hilt with narrow languets and pendulous drop quillon. There is a single branch on the guard with a plain knuckle bow and faceted backstrap. Organic white wire-wrapped grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has an overall dark patina, making the etching somewhat weak. Hilt also has a dark patina but is undamaged. Grip has a few minor losses, particularly near the pommel, but the wire wrap is 100%. 2) Overall length: 35 1/4". Blade length: 29 1/2". Plain blade has a single wide fuller with three crown arsenal stamps at the ricasso. Iron hilt featuring a 2-branch guard with a half plain and half crosshatched backstrap. Stepped pommel above a wire-wrapped sharkskin grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a slightly mottled, medium gray patina. Hilt generally has a dark patina. Grip is complete as is the wire wrap.
