SABER. 1) French M1831 short sword measuring 25" overall with a plain blade marked "Pihet Freres" and "Chatallerault 1833". Solid brass hilt and grip stamped "1189" and "78". No scabbard. CONDITION: light wear. 2) French M1831 short sword measuring 25" overall with a plain blade marked "TALABOTES PARIS". Solid brass hilt and grip stamped "625". No scabbard. CONDITION: light wear. 3) A reproduction Polish Hussar's saber measuring 38 1/2" overall with an etched blade that reads "Boq Honor i Ojczyzna". Blade has an illegible makers mark near the hilt that bears the date "1985". Gilded brass hilt with a wire wrapped leather grip. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: very light wear. (02-26145/BF).
