1. EICKHORN. The blade carries the "ORIGINAL / Squirrel / Eickhorn / SOLINGEN" trademark used by the company from 1935-41. It has silver plated first pattern crossguard, ferrule, and 12 leaf pommel. The grip is solid celluloid with a pumpkin tone. Silver plated Eickhorn scabbard with oak lead motif bands, stippled panels, & single screw wide throat. CONDITION: Overall Very good. Blade is very good with some scabbard scuffing. Fittings are good with some flaking silver with balance showing a tarnished aged silver look. Very good grips with some light handling marks. Scabbard is very good with some mildly flaking plating and age tarnished silver. 2. ALCOSO. The blade carries the script "Alcoso / ACS within scales" trademark. It has silver plated first style crossguard, ferrule, & 12 leaf pommel. The grip is solid celluloid with a mustard yellow tone. Silver plated scabbard with oak leaf bands, stippled panels, and 2 screw throat. CONDITION: Overall fair to good. Blade is very good with some scabbard scuffing and good trademark. Fittings are very good with scattered handling marks and light bubbling to the finish. Good grips with scattered handling marks. The pommel is slightly stripped and there is wiggle in the grip and the blade was reinstalled backwards. I was unable to remove the pommel due to it likely being glued or epoxied in place. Scabbard is good with some wear and handling marks. (02-24968/ZAL). NON-GUN. $500-700.
