1) A small engraving with a sight size of approx. 4 1/2" x 2 1/2", titled "RED JACKET." The engraving shows a full-length red jacket in traditional Native American garb, wearing a Peace Medal, and holding a tomahawk. Below the image are the words "Weir Pinxt" and "Gimber & Dick Scu____." The base of the engraving reads "BY PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL IN THE COLLECTION OF Saml. Ward Esqr. Miller Print." CONDITION: engraving appears to have no faults and remains quite clear. (02-23203/BF). 2) An early engraving with a sight size of approx. 4" x 4 3/4", titled "MAJOR GENERAL MONCKTON GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK." The oval image depicts a mid-chest-up view of General Monckton in uniform wearing a sash, aiguilette, and gorget. Outside of the oval image on the lower left border are the words "I: Gwyn Sculpt." CONDITION: the engraving has some very slight foxing, but the image remains crisp and clear. (02-23204/BF). $200-400.
