MODEL C98 HOLSTERS. 1 & 2) Mauser banner marked having all proper hardware that is correctly blued. Two units having finish and some very faint handling marks. Hinges have some light peppery oxidation. New and never installed as they do not have attachment iron. Original compartmentalized box fitted for two. Consignor states for Bolo, but may possibly be used for others. (02-16945-8/NW). 3) Good brown leather flap holster w/ shoulder strap plus 2" wide belt loop on back. Designed to encase entire pistol including handle. Strap attached to flap w/ Chinese Star shaped stitching that secures to brass stud having verdigris. Marked w/ Chinese characters on underside of flap plus carefully duplicated on paper (no translation). Illustrated on page 265 of 'THE BROOMHANDLE PISTOL 1896-1936" by Erickson & Pate and 4) Good sm. sized flap holster that leaves part of grip exposed. Flap has 2 snaps w/ decorative stitched Chinese Star at midpoint. Unmarked w/ stripper clip pouch angularly attached to front having snap latch. Back of holster has 12" section of shoulder strap w/ buckle. Two long brass rivet attached belt loops on back that will accept 3 1/2" belt. Straps have 2 rivets per end (1 missing) w/ verdigris.
