1) Cal. 12 Ga. S# 2847. Bbl. 26 1/2". Bead front sight. Matching numbers on receiver, bolt handle, shroud & cocking piece. Other parts are unnumbered. Post-WW1 German shotgun made from older Gew 98 parts. Left side of receiver has "GERMANY" marking. Blued finish. Hardwood stock with two piece butt & "GEHA" discs on both sides of stock joint. CONDITION: stock shows a couple small cracks behind upper tang, some chipping at toe, scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains 40% blue with overall fading, scattered edge wear & light oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Good bore with some oxidation spots. (25-4468/MJC). 2) Cal. 12 Ga. S# 4558. Bbl. 24" that appears shortened. No sight bead present. Matching numbers on receiver, bolt handle, shroud & cocking piece. Post-WW1 German bolt action shotgun made using older Gew 98 parts. Blued finish. Hardwood stock with two piece butt & Geha discs on both sides of butt. CONDITION: stock has added finish with couple gouges, scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains perhaps 20% blue with overall fading to gray, oxidation staining & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered residue & some oxidation. (25-4528/MJC).
