1) A high-quality reproduction of a French M1833 cutlass. Overall length: 31 5/8". Blade length: 26 1/8". Blade has a single, wide fuller with engraved anchors on both sides of the blade. The spine is marked "Mfture Imple Du Klingenthal". Black-finished iron cup hilt with a faceted grip and pommel. No scabbard. CONDITION: cutlass shows light wear overall. 2) A fine-quality reproduction of a cutlass-style manufactured in the Caribbean during the 18th century. Overall length: 32 1/4". Blade length: 26 1/4". Plain blade with a single, narrow fuller. Sheet iron guard with a turn-down at the quillon area. Hand-finished wooden grip swelled at both ends. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a medium, gray patina with some light oxidation. Hilt has a similar patina, and the grip shows light general wear. (02-23325/BF). $250-400.
