1) Cal. 9x23mm Largo. S# 84054. Bbl. 6". Model 1921 (400) semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Spain by Astra. Top of the slide is marked with the Astra logo towards the muzzle, with Astra's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations marked at the rear. Frame and slide exhibit a reapplied blue finish, with in-the-white parts having been cleaned and re-polished. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Half-moon blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: one 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear (primarily on the grip straps), with scattered superficial handling marks overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-6145/MLW). 2) Cal. 9x23mm Largo. S# 82534. Bbl. 6". Model 1921 (400) semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Spain by Astra. Top of the slide is marked with the Astra logo towards the muzzle, with Astra's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations marked at the rear. Metal components exhibit a rust blue finish overall, save for on the trigger, safety lever, and bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Half-moon blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: two 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of light to mild wear and thinning, scattered areas of light surface oxidation, as well as some light superficial handling marks overall. The in-the-white parts exhibit dark, cleaned spots of oxidation and some age-related discoloration. Bore is bright, exhibiting consistent mild oxidation while retaining good to strong rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing and some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: from the lifelong collection of Bill Peterken.
