SABER AND A SWORD CANE. 1) JAPANESE. A nice example of a Japanese type 32 cavalry saber measuring 37" overall with a 30 1/2" single fullered blade marked at the ricasso "73149". Steel guard, backstrap, and pommel with a 1 piece crosshatched wood grip. Steel scabbard with a single suspension loop and ring. CONDITION: light wear overall. 2) JAPANESE. A very nice example of a Japanese type 32 cavalry saber measuring 37" overall with a 30 1/2" single fullered blade marked at the ricasso "60652". Steel guard, backstrap, and pommel with a 1 piece crosshatched wood grip. Steel scabbard with a single suspension loop and ring. CONDITION: very light wear overall. 3) US. A good example of a US M1872 cavalry saber measuring 39 3/4" overall with a 33" unmarked single fullered blade. Brass semi-basket 2 branch guard with a wire wrapped leather grip. Iron scabbard with a brass throat and suspension loops/rings. CONDITION: generally light wear. The leather grip has lost most of its finish, and the drag on the scabbard is missing. 4) CANE. A good wooden sword cane measuring 36 1/2" overall with a 23 3/4" blade that is marked "STAINLESS STEEL". CONDITION: cane shows light use. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Norm Greenberg Collection.
