HARDING. 1) COOLIDGE. The letter itself measures approximately 9” x 7”. The heading at the top, printed in black, reads “THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON”. The letter is dated July 29, 1926 and appears to thank a gentleman named F.W. Hartford of Portsmouth, New Hampshire for his work supporting Republican causes. The letter is boldly signed “Calvin Coolidge”. CONDITION: the letter is partially glued to a backing paper at the very top of the sheet and shows very light wear with nearly no discoloration. The typed sections are very clear and the signature remains strong. 2) HARDING. The letter itself measures approximately 9” x 7”. The heading at the top, printed in black, reads “THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON”. The letter is dated July 27, 1921 and appears to thank a gentleman named F.W. Hartford of Portsmouth, New Hampshire for his invitation to visit Portsmouth during a forthcoming trip to New England. The letter is boldly signed “Warren G Harding”. CONDITION: the letter is partially glued to a backing paper at the very top of the sheet and shows very light wear with nearly no discoloration.
