1) POLITICAL LEADER. A brown political leader's belt complete with a gold-finished 2-piece buckle. The buckle has a central political eagle surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. The rear is marked "RZM M4/27." CONDITION: belt shows very light wear overall. 2) SERVICE BELT. A brown leather "Sam Browne" belt with a rectangular brass buckle that may be of WWII German origin, as it came with the above belt. "Sam Browne" belts are notoriously difficult to assign a country of origin to. CONDITION: this belt has no over-the-shoulder strap and shows a bit of flaking and some flexing. It also appears to have been shortened. 3) BAYONET. Overall length: 14". Blade length: 7 7/8". Blade is marked "AESCULAP-WERKE JETTER & SCHEERER TUTTLINGEN" and "AESCULAP (logo)." Plated hilt. Two-piece crosshatched black composite grip. Black enameled scabbard with a black leather frog that has a knot attached. CONDITION: bayonet shows light wear overall. (02-23404/BF). $400-550.
