1) SA. Overall length: 14 5/8". Blade is etched "Alles fur Deutschland" and is marked on the opposite side "(logo) SMF SOLINGEN." Nickel silver crossguard stamped on the reverse "Ns." Matching nickel silver pommel guard with brown wooden grip featuring a nickel silver eagle and brown enamel SA button. Brown anodized scabbard with plated mounts. Original hanger with belt loop intact. CONDITION: blade shows some original factory polish but has a bit of oxidation near the hilt. Hilt and scabbard generally show light wear, though the ball at the tip of the scabbard is dented. Hanger shows light to moderate wear. (02-23402/BF). 2) ARMY. Overall length: 15 1/2". Plain blade with no maker's mark. Silver-plated eagle crossguard with oak leaf-decorated pommel and ferrule. Cream-colored composite grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows traces of original factory polish. The initials "VWH" were engraved near the hilt with an electric engraving pen. Crossguard and ferrule show some oxidation with verdigris. Grip is undamaged. Scabbard is also undamaged and has a deep, tarnished finish. (02-23403/BF). $700-1,000.
