1) ARMY DAGGER. Overall length: 15 1/2". Blade is marked at the ricasso, “F.W. HOLLER SOLINGEN (thermometer)”. Plated crossguard, pommel & ferrule. Orange grip & correctly tied dagger knot. Plated scabbard w/ original Army hangers attached. CONDITION: blade shows areas of original factory polish w/ light scabbard wear. Entire hilt, scabbard & hangers show light wear.
2) ARMY DRESS BAYONET. Overall length: 14". Plain single fuller blade marked, “F.W. HOLLER SOLINGEN (thermometer)”. Plated guard & pommel. 2 Piece black composite grips. Black enameled metal scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows areas of factory polish. There are sm. areas of plating missing from the guard & the top of the pommel. Scabbard retains nearly all of its finish. PROVENANCE: Collection of Brian C. Pinkerton. (02-15448-5/BF). $500-700.
