1) A fine Luftwaffe enlisted visor cap for a member of the Hermann Goring Division. The cap has a dark gray crown with white piping. The front of the crown has a second-model aluminum Luftwaffe eagle. The band is black with a winged wreath and cockade in aluminum on the front. Black leather chinstrap with black side buttons. Black visor with a green underside. Tan leather sweatband with an orange polished cotton liner. Diamond-shaped sweat shield printed in gold on the underside that reads, in part, “Robert Lubstein Berlin N.W. 21 Lieserjahr 1939”. There is a cloth tag on the lower part of the sweat shield with the owner’s name, “Baes”. CONDITION: cap has two small moth nips in the crown.; otherwise, the cap shows light wear. 2) A fine Luftwaffe-enlisted visor cap for a member of the Flak Unit. The cap has a dark gray crown with bright red piping. The front of the crown has a second-model aluminum Luftwaffe eagle. The band is black with a winged wreath and cockade in aluminum on the front. Black leather chinstrap with black side buttons. Black visor with a green underside. Replaced brown leather sweatband with an American address. Dull orange polished cotton liner. Diamond-shaped sweat shield printed in silver on the underside that reads, “Die Deutsche Qualitatsmutze FABRIK- G.A.H. MARKE G.A. Hoffmann BERLIN S. W. 29 Gneisenaustr. 33”. The liner is also stamped, in black ink, “1938 56 1/2”. CONDITION: cap has some significant moth nips at the top of the crown and a few nips to the piping, but, as you can see, the cap displays well.
