1) GROUND ROHM. Overall length: 14 1/2". A nice example of a ground Rohm presentation SA dagger. Blade is etched “Alles fur Deutchland” & is marked at the ricasso, “CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN (squirrel)”. Crossguard is stamped, “WM” on the backside & “2” on the underside. Brown wood grip w/ nickel silver eagle & enameled SA button. Brown painted scabbard w/ nickel silver mounts. Dagger is complete w/ hanger & belt loops. There is an extra hanger attached to the belt loop. Top of grip has a snap on loop w/ another belt hanger. CONDITION: blade shows light wear w/ a few tiny nicks to the blade. Upper right quadrant of Eickhorn mark is erased from removal of the Rohm inscription. Grip shows light wear. Scabbard shows light wear w/ 1 sm. shallow dent & a few specks of paint loss. Hangers & belt loops are solid.
2) STANDARD SA. Overall length: 14 5/8". A fine example of an early SA dagger w/ blade etched “Alles fur Deutchland”. Blade is marked at the ricasso, “C. REMSCHEID & CO REMEVE SOLINGEN – AUFDERHOHE”. Crossguard is stamped, “WM” on the backside. Brown wood grip w/ nickel silver eagle & enameled SA button. Brown anodized scabbard w/ nickel silver mounts. Dagger is complete w/ hanger & belt loops. Top of grip has a snap on loop w/ another belt hanger. CONDITION: blade has a light gray finish & visible scabbard wear. Hilt shows light wear. Scabbard has sm. areas of oxidation on the scabbard body. All hangers are solid. (02-15612-1/BF). $1,100-1,400.
