A nice example of a WWII-style German Pilot’s Badge featuring an eagle in flight grasping a party symbol superimposing a laurel and oak leaf wreath. The reverse has 2-rivet construction and a narrow pin. The back of the eagle is stamped “C.E JUNCKER BERLIN SW”. This badge comes in a black leatherette presentation case lined in blue with “Luftwaffe Flugzeugfuhrer= u. Beobachter= Abzeichen”. CONDITION: badge shows some oxidation and tarnish. Case shows light wear. (02-22495/BF). 2) PARATROOPER. A WWII-style German Fallschirmjager or Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge. Badge features a gilded diving eagle grasping a party symbol surmounting a silver oak and laurel leaf wreath. The reverse has 2-rivet construction with a narrow pin. The back of the eagle is marked “JMME & SOHN BERLIN”. The back of the wreath is engraved “Uschfhr. Blesinger SS-Fsch. Btl. 500”. This badge is in a black leatherette presentation case lined in dark and royal blue. The top of the case if embossed in gold “Fallschirmschutzen= Abzeichen”. CONDITION: badge shows light wear with areas of tarnish. (02-22496/BF). $400-600.
