An exceptionally well-made Pilot’s Badge with a gilded oak and laurel leaf wreath featuring a central solid silver eagle in flight grasping a party symbol. The reverse has a narrow pin and rivet construction. The back of the eagle is marked “900”. The wreath is engraved “Gen. d. Flieger H. F. Geisler”. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: photocopied information about General der Flieger Hans Ferdinand Geisler, Knight’s Cross and German Cross in gold recipient. (02-22500/BF). 2) ARMY PARATROOPER. A beautifully detailed WWII German Army Paratrooper Badge featuring an oak leaf wreath with an Army eagle at the top and a central diving solid silver eagle. The reverse features a wide pin with a 2-prong safety catch adjacent to the catch. The badge features 2-rivet construction and is engraved “Fallschirm – InF. – Komp. Hptm. Pressler”. (02-22506/BF). CONDITION: both badges generally show light wear overall and retain excellent detail. $700-1,200.
