EJECTOR GAME GUN WITH CASE. Cal. 20 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 8276 (1972). The 25" dovetailed barrels are fitted with matted Churchill rib. "XXV" is in gold at breech end. Maker's name and Orange St. address is engraved on tops of barrels. Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. S#'s are on bottom of barrels. Case hardened double ogee backed boxlock action features non-automatic safety ("SAFE" inlaid in gold) and double triggers. Action is engraved with 70% coverage well cut scroll with some rose accents. "CHURCHILL" is in scrolled device on each side. Blued floorplate is engraved "THE" "REGAL" surrounded by matching scroll. Blued trigger guard with scroll and roses on bow has S# on tang. Straight grip buttstock of relatively plain European walnut measures 14-3/8" over black Decelerator pad. Stock features drop points, point pattern checkering and vacant silver oval. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .619. R .616. Restriction: L .012 (mod). R .004 (IC). Wall thickness: L .026. R .029. STOCK: DAH: 2-3/8". DAC: 1-1/2". CAST: about 1/2" off. LOP: 14-3/8". WEIGHT: 5 lb. 7 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun is housed in a brown canvas "VC" case with stitched leather corners and is lined in green cloth. A black leather Churchill label is in lid. Case contains cleaning equipment along "A&F" marked oil bottle and snap caps. CONDITION: very fine. Barrels retaining over 95% blue. Action with 85% case color. Stocks retain nearly all of their original finish with a few minor marks. Pad is relatively new. Bores are bright and shiny. Action is tight. Ejectors are strong and in time. Case is very good with rubs and marks on exterior. Straps and handle are good. Interior cloth is good with some re-working. Accessories are good.
