ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 220 Swift. S# 210290. Mfg. 1952; per "The Rifleman's Rifle" by Roger Rule, the Target Model in 220 Swift dropped from 1952 catalog, but was available for special order. Stainless 26" barrel. Filler in front & rear dovetails; 2 scope blocks measuring 10 5/8" between center of rear block & rear notch of front block. D&T Pre-64 action w/ matching numbered bolt. Marksman walnut stock w/ beavertail forearm having accessory rail, checkered target steel buttplate. CONDITION: rifle retains over 90% original blue finish with cycling wear & handling wear on bottom metal & scratches around rear floorplate screw. Original wood finish shows scattered handling marks, sm. gouges & crack at toe. Very good rifling. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col. (26-688/MD).
