SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH MATCHING MAGAZINE. Cal. 7.62x25mm. S# T550. Bbl. 4 9/16". TT-33 semi-automatic pistol mfg. at the Tula arsenal in 1938. Left side of the frame is marked with the S#, followed by a Tula star insignia, and "1938" (markings repeated on top of slide). Frame and small parts exhibit assorted Soviet arsenal proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved black synthetic "CCCP" grips. Standard fixed blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, bbl., and hammer pack. MAGS: x1 matching 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, scattered spots and patches of darkened light to mild pitting, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Bore exhibits a consistent scattering of mild to moderate pitting, while retaining good, albeit worn rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (26-2459/MLW). CURIO. $700-1,100.
