Standard configuration of scarce Richmond Virginia copy of Harpers Ferry model 1805 martial pistol, 10-1/8" barrel stamped with assembly "00" on breech and matching assembly marks externally on butt cap, side plate, trigger guard and on stock. Lock is marked 1815 vertically rear of cock, "RICHMOND" forward of cock which is worn and only partially discerned. Brass furniture & captured ramrod. CONDITION: good to very good overall, appears all original though cock is replaced, probable reconversion to flint, good well discerned matching "00" assembly marks, RICHMOND stamp is weak as noted. Stock is sound with inset wood around lock. Mechanics fine, good clear smooth bore. (01-28700/JS). ANTIQUE. $6,000-8,000.
