Checkered forearm & pistol grip walnut stock w/ original buttplate. CONDITION: 60% dull faded blue. Wood has added varnish over wear & handling marks. Buttplate has sm. chips at toe. Good bright bore. (20-1095/DS). 2) MARLIN 1898 PUMP. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 36309. Bbl. 30" plain w/ fixed Full choke & brass bead. Takedown exposed hammer action. Grooved walnut pump handle w/ S curved pistol grip stock having original buttplate. Marlin's first slide action shotgun, estimated quantity of 55,000 mfg. 1898-1905. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to gray showing scattered scratches & spots of corrosion. Stock & forearm show heavy wear w/ numerous scratches & marks. Stock as sm. chips & cracks behind top tang. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: takedown canvas case w/ accessory pouch holding a 3 piece takedown wooden cleaning rod. CONDITION: bbl. & extension have over 95% reblued finish. Action & mag. tube retain 60% light & fading original blue. Stock & forearm show wear w/ scratches & handling marks. Stock has sm. crack extending from right side of action.
