1) US M1821 type eagle head infantry officer's sword measuring 37" overall with a blade showing traces of gilded decoration. Gilded brass 5-ball style hilt with an eagle head pommel. No scabbard. CONDITION: a relic sword with a fully oxidized blade. The knuckle bow is broken at the mid point and the hilt is very loose. Grip has a large crack. 2) An assembled sword measuring 38 3/4" that appears to utilize a M1850 US foot officers sword blade with an iron cupped hilt and a shaped wooden grip. No scabbard. Possibly made for theatrical use. CONDITION: blade is quite worn with pitting and the hilt shows light wear. 3) US M1860 Cavalry saber measuring 42 3/4" overall with a plain unmarked blade. Standard brass hilt with a 2-branch guard and wire wrapped leather grip. This sword has an improper M1906 scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray patina with some nicks to the edge. Hilt shows light wear and the grip shows moderate wear. Scabbard has a gray / brown patina. 4) A Gettysburg 50th anniversary medal. CONDITION: light wear. 5) A Woman's Relief Corps medal. CONDITION: light wear. (02-25441/BF). NON-GUN. $400-700.
