Face depicts a star w/ a debossed “A” in the center & the word “MISSISSIPPI” above. The reverse is marked, RMDC “HYDE & GOODRICH . N-O. . ”. Full straight shank. CONDITION: button has a light mustard patina w/ traces of original gilded finish.
2) A great example of a pre Civil War mfg. coat button used by Confederate Cavalry forces from the State of Mississippi. Albert # MP-3-A. Face depicts a star w/ a debossed “C” in the center & the word “MISSISSIPPI” above. The reverse is marked, RMDC “HYDE & GOODRICH . N-O. . ”. Full straight shank. CONDITION: button retains most of the original gilded finish.
3) A fine example of a pre Civil War mfg. coat button used by Confederate Infantry forces from the State of Mississippi. Albert # MP-4-A. Face depicts a star w/ a debossed “I” in the center & the word “MISSISSIPPI” above. The reverse is marked, RMDC “HYDE & GOODRICH . N-O. . ”. Full straight shank.
