1) Reproduction CSN Naval cutlass, pommel cast “CSN” on one side & fouled anchor on other. CONDITION: very good, gray blade w/ pitting 2) Unmarked 1860 pattern cavalry saber w/ single branch, single thin brass wire & leather grip wrap w/ soldered lap seamed brass mounted scabbard. CONDITION: very good overall, 35" blade is overall bright/gray w/ small nicks, staining, light rust, grip leather is 90% intact. Scabbard body has iron patina & pitting, brass mounts & helped have mottled mixed mustard patina. (02-14252 & 02-14392/JS). 3) Reproduction Confederate Artillery Short Sword. Overall length: 23 3/4". Blade length: 18 1/2". Plain blade of elliptical profile. Cast brass hilt w/ “C” & “S” on opposite quillons. Fish scale grip w/ a plain pommel. No scabbard. The original version of this sword is unidentified as to the maker. This example is a reasonably good quality reproduction of a desirable Confederate edged weapon. CONDITION: blade has a medium to dark gray, cleaned, mottled finish. Hilt has areas of dark patina mixed w/ cleaned areas. (02-14253/BF). $400-800.
