1) This heavy banana-shaped lock measures approx. 7” in length. It is completely unmarked, except for a “V” stamped internally on the reverse of the lock plate. Lock appears mechanically complete. CONDITION: dark overall patina. 2) A heavy 18th century lock measuring approx. 6 3/4" in length. The lock is marked “HENSHAW” in front of the cock with a crowned “1” under the pan. The rear of the lock is marked “1796” with the East India Company ownership mark. The lock appears mechanically complete. CONDITION: dark overall patina with a lighter gray patina on either side of the cock. 3) A nice 18th century lock measuring approx. 6 1/4" in length. The lock originally had a crowned “GR” in front of the cock that has been defaced. There is a small crowned “GR” with broad arrow under the pan. The rear of the lock is marked “DUBLIN CASTLE”. The lock appears mechanically complete. CONDITION: dark overall patina. (02-22468/BF). $600-800.
