1) Rare early first batch “numbered” ricasso “374” Collins V-44. 13.75" overall, 9.2" blade, green horn handle. Blade & sheath both w/ Collins’s markings. WW2 favorite of Carlson’s Raiders. CONDITION: good overall, blade gray w/ sharpening, markings still sharp, sheath is solid but worn w/ Collin’s markings weak. 2) Identified Australian made V-44 w/ black hard rubber handle. 14" overall, 9 3/8" blade marked “MARSDEN / SYDNEY”. Leather sheath has “FORREST D. WILLIAMS … 11-10-42” nicely inked. CONDITION: good to very good overall. 3) Identified V-44 w/ no maker Mark, black hard rubber grip, brass crossguard stamped: “PROPERTY OF EDDIE OWENS, A.S.N. 17030794”. Riveted brown leather sheath w/ belt loop attached by brass ring. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 3 hand drawn collection cards by Roger Ballard. CONDITION: good overall.
