1) A fine example of an Austrian M1916 helmet reissued to WWII German forces. The helmet has a dark gray/green painted finish with a single Wehrmacht decal on the left side. The interior left of the helmet is stamped "66". The tan leather liner is of the 8-tongue variety. Partial black leather chinstrap with buckle. CONDITION: helmet finish appears to have been repainted during its period of use and retains roughly 80% of its finish. The Wehrmacht decal is also about 80%. Liner shows wear but is solid. Partial chinstrap is solid but incomplete. 2) A good German M1942 battle helmet with a dark gray/green painted finish. The interior rear of the helmet is stamped "66" over "3377". Tan leather 8-tongue liner with complete black leather chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 80%. Liner shows extensive wear but remains complete and solid. Chinstrap shows light to moderate wear. 3) A classic Luftschutz gladiator-style helmet with a dark blue painted finish and large gold Luftschutz winged decal on the front. The helmet is stamped on the interior rear "RL 2 – 39/11". Seven-tongue brown leather liner and no chinstrap. Helmet finish is approx. 70%. Liner is well-used but complete. (02-22928-3/BF). $700-900.
