1) Bavarian officer's sword measuring 38 1/2" overall with an etched double fullered blade marked "(logo) W. K. & C." at the ricasso and "JOS. VIERHEILIGS NACHE" on the spine. The etcheing on the blade includes foliate motifs with "In Treue Fest" on each side. Plated hilt with a wire wrapped sharkskin grip and a canted pommel. No scabbard. CONDITION: light wear throughout. 2) German lion head saber measuring 38 1/4" overall with a blade etched with foliate motifs and a ricasso mark that reads "(logo) W. K. & C.". Ornate brass hilt with crossed arms on the langet and a well done lion head pommel. Wire wrapped leather grip with a brass mounted iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a gray finish with oxidation. Hilt shows wear and heavy tarnish to the brass. Grip has minor damage and the wire is displaced. Scabbard is quite solid but has a uniformly oxidized finish. 3) Imperial German saber measuring 37 1/4" overall with a plain blade marked "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM SOLINGEN". Plated steel hilt with wire wrapped sharkskin grip and an elaborate gold bullion Prussian sword knot. Plated steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a gray patina and the hilt shows light wear. Grip is intact with light wear and the knot is just a bid tattered. Scabbard shows some loss of finish. (02-25312/BF). NON-GUN. $400-600.
