Blued heavy for caliber barrels that are near excellent in condition to include bores, forend and scope sets (unless noted). 1). T/C Custom Shop 24" in 22 Squirrel caliber that is a wildcat formed by shortening and reforming 22 Hornet cases. No provision for iron sights and has 2 dovetailed barrel locks for forend attachment plus split locking block. Weaver 1" scope mount set consisting of base and Quad-4 scope rings. Matte finished Nichols 4X32 scope with TV shaped wide view and duplex reticle. 2). Fluted Gonic Arms 24" in 35 Rem. caliber. Deep recessed crown of the style used on muzzle loading barrels to function as bullet starters. Gonic Arms of Gonic, NH was famous for top quality muzzle loading firearms that were clearly ahead of their time. Operated by its innovative founder, Bill Rodney, the company was well known for its various products from the start in the late 1980's until Rodney's death at age 59 in 2001. As Gonic Arms was so into muzzle loaders, this barrel has a black laminated forend that is relieved to accept a ram rod. Front and rear of barrel is round with grooved bands plus fine multiple longitudinal grooves. Fitted with Weaver base and 1" economy alloy scope rings holding black crinkle finished BSA Deerhunter 2.5X20 duplex reticle scope. 3). Gonic Arms 24" GA90 muzzle loading 45 caliber barrel with bullet starter muzzle recess. Designed to use black powder or Pyrodex and 209 shotgun primers. Ramrod appears a long solid cleaning rod with threaded end for brushes, etc. and brass jag at other end. Ramrod guide thimble set on what resembles a section of vent rib. Uncheckered walnut forend is reminiscent of T/C design. Williams sights of Streamline front sight having brass bead and hood plus WGRS at rear using T/C profiled scope base holes. Top of barrel between forend and front sight has some very light finish marks. Forend has a small chip at bottom left rear. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (02-25762-13/NW). NON-GUN. $650-900.
