1) Overall length: 17 1/2". Blade length: 11 7/8". The plain blade is stamped near the hilt "1904" and "U.S. 1863." Brass S-shaped guard with a one-piece, shaped, wooden grip secured by three brass rivets. There is a brass cap on the side of the pommel and a brass-lined lanyard ring. Dark brown leather sheath is unmarked and features a brass throat with an iron belt loop attachment. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing gray patina. Hilt and sheath show light wear. 2) Overall length: 18". Blade length: 11 7/8". The plain blade is stamped near the hilt "S A (flaming bomb) 1914" and "U.S. 39890." Brass S-shaped guard with a one-piece, shaped, wooden grip secured by three brass rivets. There is a brass cap on the side of the pommel and a brass-lined lanyard ring. Brown leather sheath with a partially visible mark that reads "ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1914 H.E.K." Blued brass throat with a blued iron belt loop attachment at the top. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray patina. Hilt and sheath generally show light wear with some scuffing to the sheath. 3) Overall length: 17 3/4". Blade length: 11 7/8". The plain blade is stamped near the hilt "S A (flaming bomb) 1912" and "US 23956." Brass S-shaped guard with a one-piece, shaped, wooden grip secured by three brass rivets. There is a brass cap on the side of the pommel and a brass-lined lanyard ring. Brown leather sheath marked on the reverse "ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1912. H.E.K." along with inspectors’ marks that read "R.C.," "E.S.," and "L.H.D." Blued brass throat with a blued iron belt loop attachment at the top. CONDITION: knife generally shows light wear overall.
