1) M1917-18 US trench knife with sheath. The knife has a triangular blade with an iron guard that features six raised pyramidal protrusions and another forming a pommel cap. The underside of the guard is marked "U.S. L.F. & C. 1917". Formed wooden grip. Iron-mounted leather sheath along with an extra throat. CONDITION: sheath is complete, but the lower 3" are detached but may be repairable. The knife itself shows light overall wear. 2) USN Mark 2 fighting knife that measures 13 1/4" overall with a darkened 7" blade. The blade is marked on the ricasso "U.S.N." and "ROBESON SHUREDGE". Iron guard and pommel with stacked leather washer grip. Leather sheath marked "U.S.N." at the throat and personalized on the front with the words "TEX RICHARDS A, DIV." CONDITION: knife shows light wear overall. Sheath shows light to moderate wear with the snap pulled through on the closing strap. 3) A Japanese Arisaka type 30 bayonet measuring 21" overall. The darkened blade is marked near the ricasso, indicating manufacture by National Denki under Kokura supervision. Iron guard and pommel with wooden grip. Iron scabbard with leather frog. CONDITION: bayonet shows light wear overall. 4) US M1905 bayonet measuring 20 1/2" overall. The darkened blade is marked on the ricasso "US 560535" and "SA (flaming bomb) 1913". Iron guard and pommel with wooden grip. Bayonet is housed in an original canvas covering but no interior scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet shows light wear overall. (02-22797-5/BF). $450-600.
