This lot of three swords includes 1 Knight’s Templar sword measuring 37 1/4" overall with an etched 27 3/4" blade in its original gold-plated scabbard. The blade is etched with the name “W.C.W. McKee”. / 1 Knight’s Templar sword measuring 36 1/2" overall with an etched 27 1/4" blade in its original silver-plated scabbard. The blade is etched with the name “Paul K. Lipps”. / 1 WWI era US Naval officer’s sword measuring 37 1/2" overall with a plain 31 1/2" blade in its original scabbard. The top mount of the scabbard is engraved “Presented to D.G. Nyberg Carpenter U.S.N. by his friends in the Crew of the U.S.S. Saratoga Nov. 1914”. The sword comes with its original painted canvas sword carrying bag. CONDITION: the gold-plated sword shows very light overall wear. The silver-plated sword shows moderate wear with notable loss of plating. The naval sword shows light to moderate wear, with the grip wire dislodged. The scabbard throat is detached but present. Leather body shows scuffs. Sword bag shows significant wear and finish loss.
