These green web model 1912 bandoliers are all Mills manufacture. Two of them have the Mills logo on the inside, and all have the standard Mills markings on the end tabs. All are equipped with rimmed "Eagle" snap closures, which are marked "Mills" on the inside of the snap. All three bandoliers have 12 pockets for rifle ammunition; two have their original three pockets for loose revolver ammo; one has been modified by the removal of the pockets; and a two-pocket magazine pouch for the Model 1911 pistol stitched in the same place. The magazine pouch is closed with two eagle snaps and has pleated pockets. CONDITION: all bandoliers are in good, serviceable condition with light wear and scattered staining. The modified bandolier has notable wear and oxidation on the metal parts. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Edward Scott Meadows. (02-22179/RW). $1,000-1,500.
