1) Overall length: 39”. Blade length: 32 1/2". The blade has a single medium fuller and is marked at the ricasso “PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO SOLINGEN (logo)”. Gilded brass hilt with eagle crossguard and downturned quillon. The knuckle bow, backstrap, and ferrule are embellished with oak leaves & acorns. The lion head pommel has red eyes. Wire-wrapped composite grip. Black enameled iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish. Hilt shows light overall wear, as does the scabbard. 2) Overall length: 38 1/4”. Blade length: 32 5/8". The blade is stamped on the ricasso, “ORIGINAL (squirrel) Eickhorn SOLINGEN.” Gilded brass hilt with eagle-decorated languet. Scroll and leaf embellished knuckle bow, backstrap, ferrule, and bird’s head pommel. Wire-wrapped black composite grip. Black enameled iron scabbard. There is a silver bullion and green leather knot attached to the scabbard suspension ring. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish. Hilt shows light overall wear. Scabbard has some wear to the finish, particularly near the drag. The knot shows moderate wear 3) Overall length: 40 1/2”. Blade length: 33". The unmarked blade has a single medium fuller. Gilded aluminum hilt with eagle-decorated languet. Oak leaf-embellished knuckle bow, backstrap, and ferrule. The lion head pommel has two red eyes. Wire-wrapped black composite grip. Black enameled iron scabbard. The hilt has a green leather and silver bullion knot attached. CONDITION: blade has a slight bend, approx. 6” from the tip, and shows original factory polish. Gold plating on the hilt is approx. 90%+. The grip is undamaged. Scabbard has irregular bends that extend 10” back from the tip. The finish is approx. 85%, with some paint residue.
