1) SA. A good example of an SA dagger measuring 13 3/4" overall with a blade that is etched “Alles fur Deutschland” and is marked near the hilt “CARL EICKHORN (squirrel) SOLINGEN”. Nickel-silver crossguard stamped “OH” on the rear. Nickel silver pommel guard with brown wooden grip, nickel silver eagle, and brown enamel SA button. Brown anodized scabbard with plated mounts. CONDITION: blade shows some pitting and water damage. Grip has been poorly refinished, and the scabbard shows only traces of its anodized finish. 2) NSKK. A good example of an NSKK dagger measuring 14 5/8" overall with a blade that is etched “Alles fur Deutschland” and is marked near the hilt “(logo) LEUCO”. Nickel-silver crossguard stamped “Fr” on the rear. Nickel silver pommel guard with brown wooden grip, nickel silver eagle, and brown enamel SA button. Black-painted scabbard with bright, plated mounts and an original brown leather hanger. This scabbard appears to be a post-WWII production, but the dagger is period. CONDITION: blade has a mottle, gray patina with some very light pitting. Hilt shows light wear overall, as does the scabbard. 3) ARMY. A late-war army dagger measuring 15 3/4" with a plain, unmarked blade. Plated eagle crossguard, pommel, and ferrule. Orange composite grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: dagger generally shows light wear overall with no major flaws. (02-22730-1/BF). $700-1,000.
