OVERSEAS CAPS. This lot contains three seldom seen WWII German summer white Kriegsmarine overseas caps. All caps are white cotton with a blue cloth Kriegsmarine eagle and party symbol at the front peak. Below the eagle is a red, white, and black cockade embroidered on white. All the interiors have an oatmeal-colored herringbone weave cloth. Two of the linings have a circular stamp with central crosshairs. The outside ring of the circles read "S.O.G.E.C.O. PARIS" and "59". The third cap has a round interior stamp that shows three illegible lines of text with "PARIS" at the bottom, along with the size stamp "55". CONDITION: all overseas caps are in very solid condition with no tears or losses. Each cap is lightly soiled but could be easily cleaned. (02-22797-2/BF). $1,200-1,600.
